What We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to run the quiz and keep you informed. This falls into two areas:

Table Bookings

When you book a table you provide:

• Name — so we know who the booking is for
• Email address — to send your booking confirmation
• Phone number — the only reason we ask for this is so we can contact you quickly if the quiz is ever cancelled or the venue has an issue at short notice. It will never be used for marketing or shared with anyone.
• Party size & date — to manage table availability
• Table preference (optional) — noted but not guaranteed

Mailing List

If you sign up for quiz reminders you provide:

• Email address (required) — to send quiz updates and reminders
• First name (optional) — to personalise your emails

How We Store Your Data

All data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted database platform with enterprise-grade security. Their servers are located in the EU (London region). We access this data only to manage bookings and run the quiz — it is never sold, rented, or passed to third-party marketing services.

Booking confirmation emails are sent via Resend (resend.com). Mailing list emails are sent via Hostinger SMTP. Neither service retains your data beyond what is required to deliver the email.

Email Communications

Mailing list subscribers typically receive two emails per week:

• A Friday teaser about the upcoming quiz
• A Monday reminder on quiz day

You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of any email. We will never share or sell your email address to third parties.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To make a request, get in touch via Instagram (see below) and we will action it promptly.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This data is fully anonymous and you are never tracked across websites.
