Jackpot Update

As We Approach £300, I'm Changing The Rollover Jackpot

The rollover has been creeping up for a while now, and we’re getting close to £300. That’s got me thinking about what should happen if it keeps climbing.

I love a big rollover. Watching it grow week after week is part of what makes Monday nights exciting, and I don’t want to lose that. But when the pot gets that big, I also want to make sure a proper chunk of it definitely finds its way back to you lot — the teams who turn up and play every week.

So I’ve decided to change how it works.

The New Rule

When the rollover stands at £300 or more, the following week becomes a Must-Win Jackpot Night — and £150 MUST be won that night.

To be clear: the night it crosses £300, everything carries on as normal — the rollover wheel spins as usual. Then, the following week, the normal jackpot game is parked for the night and replaced by the £150 Must-Win giveaway.

£150 is guaranteed to leave the pot and end up with teams in the room. Whatever’s left carries forward to the week after.

How It Flows

The £150 Must-Win Wheel

On the Must-Win night, the £150 gets given away on a special Must-Win wheel, split into 10 cash prizes:

  • Once a cash amount has been won, it comes straight off the wheel.
  • A team can only win one Must-Win cash prize during the giveaway.
  • The wheel keeps spinning until the entire £150 has been awarded.

How It Plays Out Week To Week

If it stays at £300 or more

  • Week 12

Jackpot stands at £325. Normal rollover wheel — someone wins £17, so £308 remains.

  • Week 13

£308 is still £300 or more, so this becomes a Must-Win Jackpot Night: £150 must be won, leaving £158.

  • Week 14

The £158 carries forward plus half of that week’s entry fees — and it starts building again.

If it drops back below £300

  • Week 12

Jackpot stands at £325. Normal rollover wheel — someone wins £40, so £285 remains.

  • Week 13

Under £300, so it’s a normal rollover wheel night — the pot keeps building as usual.

Either way, once a Must-Win night has happened, the normal weekly jackpot additions carry on from the remaining balance — and we start building towards £300 all over again.

Why I’m Doing It

As we edge closer to £300, I don’t really want the rollover climbing forever — but I also don’t want to stick a low cap on it, because watching it grow is half the fun.

This rule gives us both. The pot can still build week after week, but once it stands at £300 or more, the following week guarantees a meaningful amount of money goes back to the teams playing. After the giveaway, the remaining rollover survives and starts building towards £300 again.

Same quiz. Same wheel. Just a better guarantee that big pots end up in your pockets.

See you at the wheel on Monday.
